On the journey to yourself: The tauglerei in St. Koloman near Salzburg offers stressed townspeople a unique experience between coworking and enjoying nature. Taugl is the name of the emerald river below in the valley, and the mountain region above, where the Celts used to offer sacrifices to their gods in mysterious forests in front of mossy rocks. Taugl means "hidden" in Old High German and fits this mystical region. I landed on Workation in the 1700-strong village of St. Koloman, surrounded by the Tennengebirge and the Hoher Göll. Vacation and work, that is vacation and work, that sounds very tempting to me: because I have not only planned a book project for which I have hardly had time so far, but at the same time have a desire for nature away from the noisy city.
