On the journey to yourself: The Tauglerei in St. Koloman near Salzburg offers stressed city dwellers a unique experience between coworking and enjoying nature. Taugl is the name of the emerald green river down in the valley, and above is the mountain region where the Celts used to make sacrifices to their gods in mystical forests in front of mossy rocks. Taugl means "hidden" in Old High German and fits this mystical region. I ended up on a workation in the village of St. Koloman, which has a population of 1,700, surrounded by the Tennengebirge and the Hoher Göll. Vacation and work, that sounds quite tempting to me: because I not only have a book project planned, for which I have hardly had any time so far, but at the same time I want to be out in nature away from the noisy city. At the entrance to the Tauglerei, the café run by the lively Susanne Spitzer awaits guests with vegan and vegetarian delicacies. Churchgoers used to eat here......
