PATRICK SELLIER

Works as a coach, therapist, consultant and village innkeeper. He runs the Tauglerei, a house for personal, economic and social development in the mountains near Salzburg. Today, problems can no longer be solved in isolation in one social area. Only by combining a wide variety of perspectives, experiences and insights can the pressing questions be penetrated in a process of multifaceted answers. For Patrick, dignity is the one component on which all different human concerns can be connected and a fundamental guiding principle in questions of relationships between individuals and organizations. Patrick lives a holistic existence in the knowledge and trust that everything is possible. A principle that the former publisher and online entrepreneur has repeatedly demonstrated himself. Due to his great energy and enthusiasm, it is not possible for him to limit himself to classic career and role models. So today he works equally focused on his personal and social visions and goals as a village innkeeper, Ayurveda therapist, lecturer, consultant, developer, mediator and coach. His understanding of the world is very closely interwoven with Samkhya and the interaction of the perceptible and imperceptible parts of humans and their environment, and is linked to an identity-oriented systemic approach. He is motivated by the realization that it is possible to use social tensions and technical challenges as potential to actively shape a dignified coexistence in the world. That is why he is involved in the Würdekompass, is helping to build up the Würde.Macht.Sinn. network, and is involved in the Taugl network, which is dedicated to developing the potential of communities. Patrick also likes to invest in regenerative startups: Czernin • Godulla • Sellier. Do you want to work with Patrick? Write him a message:

THE TAUGLEREI - FORMERLY A UNTERWIRT AND KIRCHENWIRT

Nobody can say exactly how old the house is where the Tauglerei is located today. It is one of the oldest buildings in the village of St Koloman and was probably run as an inn as early as the 14th century. A house where the Tauglers came together to exchange ideas, celebrate and discuss important topics. It is said that many an animal or even a farm changed hands here while playing cards.

The rope trade has a long history

The first documented mention goes back to the 17th century, when this house belonged to the "Perneggen estate in the Taugl" and thus to the Altmann manor, later to Lodron-Firmian. In 1784, Ruep Rambsauer is already mentioned in the old records as a farmer and innkeeper. In 1761, Catharina Rambsauer received a permit for a Tafernersrechtigkeit (innkeeper's business). The later innkeeper Georg Rambsauer was also a farmer, sexton and the first school owner in the Taugl. In 1832, Kaspar Stöger bought the inn. The Stegerschützen in Radstadt can be traced back to him. After his son, Leonhard Wallinger took over the inn in 1850. He was the first municipal chairman (mayor) of St. Koloman. In 1887, the construction of an ice cellar was approved. In 1914 the old house burned down, but the masonry and vaults remained intact. It was not until 1971 that the house was renovated by Josef Wörndl. In 2002 the house was bought by Rupert Schorn and Heinz Seiler, rebuilt again and renamed Kirchenwirt. However, the inn was soon closed and used as the headquarters and warehouse of the Seiler Spezialabdichtung company. In 2016 Sara and Patrick Sellier moved into the old hall and set up a yoga and Ayurveda center there. In 2018 the two were able to purchase the entire building and return the house to its original purpose as an inn and place to "get together and bring things together". They turned the Tauglerei into a house of creativity, liveliness, balance and development: a power center in which many things are possible! The Tauglerei is an individual resonance space in the mountains near Salzburg. In the Tauglerei you feel what is good for you. We look forward to seeing you. Experience the Tauglerei and visit us.
